Microblogging educativo en el aprendizaje de idiomas: una revisión sistematizada de las investigaciones publicadas entre 2010 y 2018

Zusammenfassung

Esta investigación presenta los resultados de una revisión sistematizada de la literatura entre los años 2010 y 2018 sobre el uso del microblogging, una forma breve de comunicación en el aprendizaje y enseñanza de idiomas. Siguiendo las pautas de actuación del Framework SALSA (Grant & Booth, 2009) se seleccionaron 18 artículos con el objetivo principal de explorar el impacto del microblogging en la competencia lingüística del estudiante. Los resultados obtenidos informan sobre su utilidad en la mejora de la adquisición lingüística. Sin embargo, este efecto positivo debe tomarse con cautela, puesto que 11 de las 18 investigaciones están basadas únicamente en la adquisición autopercibida de los estudiantes tras utilizar plataformas de microblogging. Aunque es necesario realizar más investigaciones con evidencias empíricas sobre la adquisición, este estudio concluye que el microblogging puede tener resultados positivos en la adquisición lingüística, puesto que mejora aspectos clave que la condicionan – entre ellos, la interacción, participación y, sobre todo, la motivación
