The importance and necessity of researching emigration and its relationship with school education

Resumen

Ante los flujos migratorios diferentes estudios señalan la necesidad de investigar sobre las condiciones de vida de la infancia y la juventud emigrante y sobre los procedimientos empleados por los sistemas educativos para integrarlos/incluirlos. Estas propuestas remarcan la urgencia de plantear nuevas preguntas en torno a los enfoques y estrategias que las políticas y las escuelas plantean para afrontar las cuestiones relacionadas con la educación de los estudiantes de origen migrante con el fin de detectar y responder a sus necesidades, hacer aflorar tensiones y sugerir alternativas. Teniendo en cuenta esta necesidad, este texto introduce el sentido que guía a un monográfico en el que se recogen 10 artículos, desde la perspectiva de investigadoras de siete países, que ponen el foco en el meta-análisis de investigaciones realizadas, la visión de los jóvenes migrantes, la relación entre las políticas y las prácticas educativas y la evaluación de experiencias educativa. Contribuciones que constituyen un punto y seguido para situarse, abrir nuevos problemas, plantear desafíos y contribuir no solo a desvelar situaciones sino a cambiar las políticas y los modos de relación desde los sistemas educativos con las personas migrantes.
