Abstract
This communication refers to an advanceof the doctoral research carried out in theInterinstitutional Doctorate in Educationof the FJdC District University, whichspecifically describes the main trends of theDesign Research methodological approachin education in renewable energies, throughthe Informational Bibliographic Mapping of50 articles analyzed. As a result, 3 approachesand 8 thematic fields are described; thoseapproaches with the greatest weight wereteaching with 72 %, conceptions, visionsand representations with 17 %, and teachertraining with 11 %. The thematic field with thehighest representation was foundation 42 %and those with the least representation wereattitudes and professional development with4 %. It concludes on the importance of theDesign Research methodological approach inrenewable energy education in the Colombiancontext.
