Abstract

This thesis explores the possibilities of convergence between media literacy and the community communication from the analysis of the participatory audiovisual creation. To do this, it uses four key indicators: the synergistic satisfaction of needs, feedforward, dialogue and conviviality. The research examines the communication from these practices in order to propose a transdisciplinary field. It seeks to return to the epistemology knowledge arising from the multiplicity of intercommunication experiences. The research gathers and organizes tactics within the great experiential diversity for pointing out the way to a political strategy of autonomy and assertiveness. On this tour, the thesis delves in the informant community as a way of understanding and applying the communication emanating from the everyday work of the grassroots social networks. In it, become meaningless labels and value comes an understanding of interconnected community and communication in reciprocity. This symbiosis creates and reproduces endless number of relationship spaces, social meeting places, interactions between individuals and groups, rediscoveries of the environment, stories emerged of empathy and a whole world of potential necessary.
