This paper offers some considerations about the use we make of the portfolio in our teaching experiences when we give on-line and presential training. In both forms of training, the reasons behind that induced us to use portfolios coincide with our understanding of the teaching experience as a continuous exploration of the support we give to the others and to ourselves aiming at our own valuation and each of the people envolved self-esteem. It is examined the sense teaching gets, the different focus from where it is posible to deal with it and the differences due to its presential/on-line support. In adition to it, the posibilities that offers to the development of teaching and learning proposals base don the sutdents constructive processes. Targeting also to questions about which we should continué deepening.
