Abstract

The reader processes are relevant in the acquisition of learning. Therefore, it is important to innovate in the educational field to favor its acquisition, for example through creativity. The present study aims to know if there is a relationship between creativity, oral comprehension, lexical, syntactic processes and the academic performance of a sample of third grade students. Method: In order to know this relation, 30 students, between 8 and 9 years old, to whom the Prolec-R test was applied, and the CREA creativity test, were assessed the first academic period of the Spanish course. To measure academic performance in this area. Results: The results of the research do not show an existing significant correlation between these variables in the sample studied. Conclusions: Further research in this direction is needed to shed light on the relationship between the different variables.
