Zusammenfassung

This doctoral thesis work aims to make historical reminiscence of the Ecuadorian university reality, during the periods 2004-2007 and 2008-2016. Each of these periods are analyzed from the socio-political, cultural and economic situation, in order to situate ourselves in an appropriate scenario, to analyze the educational processes that have been carried out, in each of these periods, with a different focus and various implications. The first three chapters collect the situation in which the Institutions of Higher Education are inserted; Chapter IV presents the methodological design, justified and supported by a theoretical and epistemological construct. In addition, the field study process is collected, prepared for the collection of information and processing of it. Finally, Chapter V, of the discussion and conclusions, collects very relevant information, because the findings, and the analysis of applications and implications, are visualized to the Ecuadorian university of the last ten years.
