Résumé
This article describes the methodology of a PhD work, which aims to study on the curricular application of TIC in compulsory education (primary and secondary levels) in Bolivia. Based on this objective, we have using as a primary source of information the views and perceptions of rural teachers in the locality of Oruro as our case of study, once took place the implementation of policies and projects lead by the Plurinational State of Bolivia in order to equip with technological resources to the faculty and public schools. To do this, we analyze experiences of implementation of TIC in the Bolivian public education in comparison with other Latin American and European countries, we will include, the state of this process, achievements and difficulties. The focus of attention this analysis will be the valuations expressed by teachers, school principals, district managers, project managers and politicians. We will use, by a hand, qualitative methodology, based on participant observation, interviews and focus groups, and by the other, quantitative methodology, based on questionnaires. As results of our preliminary analysis, we perceive the need for an effective implementation of TIC in the curriculum in order to foster the development of skills to support the process of education in teachers and students of primary and secondary levels.
