Resumen
The article reports on research. It addresses the problem of audiovisual alphabetization and the development of critical thinking in adults. It deals with the television medium, as the most common and present medium in the lives of these people. It presents the research methodology based on investigationcooperative activity processes, non-participant observation and teacher interviews. The article describes the main results obtained and offers the most relevant conclusions with regard to teacher training and the program developed. It proposes a model for action that stems from the conclusions and implications of the study
