Zusammenfassung

The purpose of this thesis is to establish that Semiotics has been a methodological instrument for a group of teachers, who were studying Mastery in Education (MEIPE) in Jalisco, Mexico. Semiotics analysis of their educational practice helped those students to construct educational meanings. The thesis is organized in a diagnosis to identify resources for determining the meaning of their educational procedures; an application of semiotic models framed to stimulate their educational processes; and the interpretation of the data, operation based on patterns and methods for analysis of discourse. The results express in which degree the objective of this research has been obtained, and also reveals the limits and possibilities for further similar researching work in this area.
