Abstract

In this article we value the sequence of learning activities designed and implemented in the Department of Sculpture for two compulsory second cycle subjects of Fine Arts Degree. The transition from Creation Workshop I to Creation Workshop II means that students move from highly directed exercises to a methodology that seeks autonomy, with more open learning activities (based on self-construction knowledge) and team building as the space for reflection, introducing cooperative work groups, conceptual maps and other. Methodology The methodology includes: design activities with professors, evaluation of the course jointly between the teaching team and the students, opinion survey and assessment of the results to the students. Results The high motivation in the learning activities has trapped the students in an spiral of work that leads them to a consistent, independent and responsible decision making, and to the creation of high quality projects and maturity. Conclusions In the opinion of the authors, the very positive results are due to the excellent design of the learning activities.
