Abstract

The discourse of educational innovation has promoted the profusion of active methodologies in university teaching. However, it points out the lack of involvement of the students in this type of methodology so that we speak of “the strengths of the students”. Much of the teachers are not rewarded the effort he had to do to train and adapt their courses to new methodologies. This paper proposes some clues that can help interpret students' strengths while “uneasy” teachers who think the responsibility for this situation is only the side of the student. Finally we analyze a particular case of resistance occurred for students in the School of Education of Donostia-San Sebastian and the dilemmas that this situation created for teachers.
