Resumen

This paper is part of a continuous study that commenced when the program “Eskola 2.0” was launched and will be concluded in July 2014, a year after the implementation of the said program was closed. This report gathers and analyzes the information corresponding to the third phase of the thesis project centered on the research of the alumni’s perception of the impact produced by the “1x1” project on their learning process. For this phase of the thesis project, the second grade students from Ipintza High School (Bergara, Gipuzkoa) were asked about a series of questions. The first part of the questionnaire dealt with the first experiences related to the initial implementation of the program, in contrast with the expectations met once the program was about to be finished. The second part, on the other hand, focused on the differences about the methodology and teaching program suggested by the shown images. This time, 89 surveys were filled by these pupils, who belong to the generation with which the program “Eskola 2.0” started in the Basque Country. As the research moves forward the skepticism of the theories questioning the innovative impact of the digital technologies on the teaching and learning methods currently in force in our education system gets confirmed. Although there is very little information available in this regard to compare, the results obtained by this study focused on the alumni match with the doubts raised by the studies carried out about the perceptions of the teachers (Dussel, 2014; Correa, Losada y Fernández, 2012; De Pablos, 2009; Sancho 2006), who do not fully believe on the stimulus generated by the massive implementation of digital resources in schools for encouraging innovative teaching models.
