Resumen

This article aims to know and analyze if the textbooks of Physics 2nd Baccalaureate collect, and to what extent, decisive issues for a constructive learning of the Optics. This is an essential topic in the curriculum of this educational stage. From a qualitative methodology, content analysis has been used for the review of thirteen textbooks according to three blocks of indicators related to: a) Kepler's vision model; b) the history of optics; and c) obstacles that may impede the understanding of basic concepts by students. We have found that the analyzed texts offer an empiricist treatment of optical phenomena and do not take into account the historical review for the identification of possible obstacles that students may encounter for their learning
