Abstract

This proposal arises within the framework of the Educational Innovation Project "Ecologies of learning, training, and community participation in higher education. Articulating academic knowledge and experiences" (PIE-193, 2019-2021) developed by the research group PROCIE at the University of Malaga. In it, the school is presented as an open, dialogical, and critical community, especially in disadvantaged contexts, as a way of facing the current neoliberal hegemony. This proposal is presented from experience of volunteering by students of education degrees in their education trajectory in college of Education. We propose three mediations present in the construction of the community: teaching practice, the family and learning of students. Each of them represents a peculiar contribution to how school works from the position of each of the groups that participate in it.
