Resumen

This paper offers a detailed overview of an experience of service-learning undertaken during the months of April and May 2016 by three students of the subject Music in Primary Education and a student of fourth year of the Teacher degree in Primary education of the University of Santiago de Compostela. This experience consisted in a music workshop for boys and girls between six and twelve years old in the Sociocultural Centre of Villestro, dependent of Santiago de Compostela’s City Council, beginning a process of collaboration with this organization.
