La educación formal, un espacio clave para reducir la brecha generacional

Resumen

Los cambios en las estructuras familiares, la inmigración y la crisis económica, entre otras, dificultan el vínculo generacional. Por ello, está surgiendo la urgente necesidad de crear espacios compartidos en los que diferentes generaciones se relacionen entre sí. Partiendo de esta premisa la educación formal ofrece un contexto ideal para trabajar la visión intergeneracional. De hecho, las experiencias intergeneracionales que se producen en el contexto de la educación formal ayudan a crear una ideología educativa para toda la vida, fomentando el aprendizaje bidireccional y alimentando la participación activa tanto de las personas mayores como del alumnado.
