Abstract

This paper aims to describe the development of a project that started almost at the same time in a primary school and the university research team Artikertuz. The main idea was to complement the development of critical thinking skills usually exercised in the interdisciplinary project method in Primary Education by looking at construction forms related to art and visual culture. From Basque legends and allegories to ecosystems, from the origin of the Universe to the shape of the river crossing the town where these primary school students live, the nymphs, as mythological figures, are used to address the ecology-related issues affecting a specific geographic context from the artistic perspective.
