Abstract
This paper gives account of the study developed as part of the the Art based Research course at the University of Barcelona, focused on the childhood constructions by contemporary photographers. To identify these constructions of childhood we have done an archive of work made by several contemporary photographers who work directly with children or with the notion of childhood. Once the archive was done, we organized and related the photographers and their works according of those childhood imaginaries explored in the context of the course: innocence, adulthood, parents projection and sinister. This process leave us to link these notions and representations of childhood with those discourses that colonize children ways of being.
