Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate the use of the virtual forum as a tool for the shared construction of knowledge, in addition to knowing what were the different topics of interest in the students of the degree of pedagogy of the University of Malaga. The study group was composed of a total of 132 students belonging to three different subjects of the 1st and 3rd grades for three years 2019-2022. The methodology used in this research is based on the qualitative approach and is descriptive-analytical. The results obtained from the 9 focuses of interest that were formed in the discussion forums and the 124 interventions, were interconnected in 3 interpretive categories of analysis -educating in times of pandemic; education for inclusion and connecting interests-; which start from the free choice of students and show a great depth in their discussions, something that leads us to conclude that virtual discussion forums, within what is known as virtual learning environments (EVA), continue to be, more if possible in current times, a space for reflection, inquiry, debate and construction of deep learning for students
