Resumen

This communication is part of a research about young people’s modes of learning when documenting visually their inquiry processes in school. To do so, I will focus on the implementation of a project based on DIY (do it yourself) culture in two classrooms of 10-11 years old students during first term of 2015. From January to June this young people were documenting visually their processes of learning and work while designing the smartphone of the future. In those transits, they allowed themselves reflecting and analysing their position in school, settled power relations, and testing other modes of being and living school. At the same time, I was involved in those processes and I also was documenting visually them. This led me to some openings and reflections about visual documentation’s meanings and relations in learning processes, as well as in postqualitative research and new materalisms.
