El Grupo de Investigación Evaluación y Tecnología Educativa fue creado en el año 1993, bajo el amparo del Plan Andaluz de Investigación (código HUM-154). Este equipo está integrado por profesores e investigadores de la Universidad de Sevilla, Universidad de Jaén, Universidad de Loyola, Antonio de Nebrija y Universidad Internacional de Valencia. Sus aportaciones científicas se centran en la integración de las TIC en los Sistemas Educativos.
