Résumé

An empirical research study on how Secondary Education teachers perceive and understand gender culture is described. The study's theoretical approach is based on socio-cultural theory and Bronfenbrenner's ecological paradigm. The results reveal teachers' different views of gender reality, and the variables associated to each socio-cultural view of gender are identified. Sex and gender perception differences were also found
